Zeise Kino

Since 1993, the zeise kinos in Hamburg-Ottensen have stood for sophisticated and entertaining program cinema with many guests and a legendary slam culture in the unique ambience of a former ship's propeller factory.

Surrounded by countless bars, cafes and restaurants, the Zeise Hallen are located in the middle of Hamburg's vibrant Ottensen district. Built in 1869 by Theodor Zeise, ship propellers were manufactured here for more than a hundred years and exported all over the world. Today, the rustic, brick-red industrial hall flair is skillfully combined with modern glass and steel architecture. An environment that gives zeise kinos a unique atmosphere.

From 150€ for up to 15 people, anyone can rent our cinemas! Use our cinema of choice for this purpose.

The zeise kinos can also be rented as an event location for closed film premieres, company presentations, lectures, talks, Christmas parties, seminars and other purposes. Use the big screen in cinema 1 with a small stage (369 seats / stage size: 8x2 meters) or the personal charm of the small cinemas (96 or 67 seats) and the comfortable velvet chairs, surrounded by the special industrial ambience of the Zeise Halle, for your purposes!

Please note: The availability of the halls depends on the film offer of our first screenings. We are unable to offer rentals during peak screening hours (7:30pm - 10:30pm) on Fri and Sat. Morning and afternoon appointments during the week as well as on weekends are easy to realize.
