Kulturhalle Schanz

The Kulturhalle Schanz in Mühlheim am Main is a special venue for a wide variety of events. Founded as a socio-cultural centre for concerts, comedy events, theatre and readings, the Schanz has been a permanent fixture in the cultural landscape around Offenbach and Hanau for a quarter of a century. In recent years, the Schanz has also established itself as a venue for private events and company celebrations and offers alternatives to traditional venues.

The Schanz combines cult charm with industrial elements and an idyllic beer garden in a green setting. What makes the Schanz so special, however, is above all its versatility. With a fully equipped catering kitchen, three bars and three event areas, the Schanz offers flexibility and the opportunity to customise a celebration.

The hall offers seating and tables for up to 160 people. With a concert stage including appropriate lighting and sound technology, live events such as concerts are possible. Next door, the Schanz has a small living room. It also has a sound system, its own bar and seating for up to 35 people.
In summer, the beer garden comes up trumps. With seating for up to 130 people, a stone oven and an outdoor bar, nothing stands in the way of cosy summer parties.

We plan private occasions and corporate events individually and take the time needed for each event. From individual food and drink offers to the programme design and decoration, we are well positioned.

In addition to a successful celebration, renting the Schanz offers another side effect. Every private event directly supports artists from the region and our cultural work. Our turnover goes towards fair salaries and cultural work in the region. If that isn't a nice side effect!
