JUNIPER

The JUNIPER, right next to the CITTI PARK in the former canteen of the Lübecker Nachrichten, was completely remodelled within a year. The owner invested a seven-figure sum in the latest building technology, sanitary facilities and ventilation systems. The operator, Arne Meier, 43, has been an established name in the event industry in and around Lübeck for 20 years with his company Gourmet Kontor. With 20 permanent employees and around 200 temporary staff, he has not only catered for VfB Lübeck for many years, but also numerous events for the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and company celebrations in the greater Lübeck area for up to 10,000 people. He also invested a high six-figure sum in furniture and technical equipment.

The Juniper is positioned between the established event venues in Lübeck. The location offers two versatile event rooms: "LUNA", ideal for celebrations, trade fairs, conferences and concerts, and "STELLA", for smaller meetings and seminars. The "Juniper Garden", a 3,500 m² event garden, enables large open-air events such as summer parties, Christmas markets or open-air concerts as well as free wedding ceremonies.

"Together, we want to establish Lübeck as a congress and event location and attract high-calibre companies from all over Europe to the Bay of Lübeck," said Arne Meier at an event in the Lübeck Convention Office.
