KAMPNAGEL
is a world-renowned international production house that presents contemporary performing arts as well as concerts, conferences and a variety of different festivals and thematic focuses. The six Kampnagel stages showcase the work of international artists and the local Hamburg scene. The programme represents a broad spectrum of aesthetic positions and pioneering trends, not only in theatre, dance and performance, but also in music, visual arts and architecture. Kampnagel is a productive laboratory for the development of ideas, a think tank and place for controversy that opens up to society and processes the surrounding reality in art. The house is networked throughout Germany in the alliance of international production houses and works globally and locally with a large number of different cooperation partners.
In total, Kampnagel hosts over 900 events per season, attracting 180,000 visitors to the site.
