HFS is a creative studio space designed as a simple blank canvas, a place to bring your creative ideas alive. A modern creative studio space fashioned out of a 1920's auto repair shop. Perfect for photo/ film shoots, events, weddings, art exhibitions and temporary production workspace. We are centrally located, close to the 10 freeway, between Culver city and U.S.C.

OPERATIONAL COSTS: (We require a onsite representative or security guard or guards for all events at The Hippo Factory Studios. The Guard's job is to make sure that the event runs as smooth as possible for us and so you can enjoy your special day instead of dealing with the door.) This is a separate cost than the rental and should come up in the total if you enter the right capacity. Half day bookings For events under 60 guests: We charge a flat fee of $60 For events from 60-120: 1 Rep For events above 120 guests: 1 Guard 1 Rep Full day bookings For events under 60 guests: We charge a flat fee of $60 For events from 60-120: 1 Rep For events above 120 guests: 1 Guard 1 Rep
If you'd like to add hours to your booking time frame it would be an extra per guard. We require every event or production to have rental insurance to book at our space for events above 35 guests. This cost can range depending on capacity and event type. We collect $520 refundable security deposit before any event to cover any damages\extra time\extra cleaning if required. $260 for small productions. We refund the deposit 5-7 business days after the event. This is collected Via Email Invoice.
