Scharfenstein Castle event site

The area below Scharfenstein Castle was transformed into a modern event site in 2021/2022. Up to 15,000 guests can be accommodated on the site, which is designed for open-air concerts as well as smaller events. Arrivals and departures for large events are always by shuttle bus.

The 12,000 square metre area is barrier-free and has access to electricity, water and sewage pipes as well as a circular path that can be driven on.

On the south-eastern edge of the square, a multi-purpose building was erected with recreation and storage rooms for organisers as well as sanitary facilities, which can also be used by guests at smaller events. For larger concerts, the building serves as a box office and information point for the organiser and is located directly at the entrance to the concert grounds.
