Gotha City Hall is considered the founding site of the German Shooting Association (1861). It was built in 1824 as a shooting house and, with its historic structure, is one of the oldest concert and festival halls in Germany.
Due to its excellent acoustics, it was also used for sound recordings in the past. Today, it hosts concerts, entertainment and shows, lectures and conferences, receptions and balls.
The building with its large hall, small hall, foyer and bar can accommodate up to 1,100 visitors, depending on the usage and seating arrangements. The adjoining catering area is available to guests during events.
The Stadthalle is a listed building and offers a traditional ambience for events of various genres.
Sufficient parking is available on the Stadthallenplatz.
