The Spreehalle is part of the building ensemble of the former AEG transformer factory in Schöneweide, beautifully situated on the banks of the Spree. It was built at the beginning of the 19th century. The location has a kitchen and sanitary facilities (in the adjoining building), which are connected to the hall via direct access. The floor is made of concrete, the walls are made of brick and unplastered, the hall is covered with a wooden ceiling. The room is flooded with light thanks to a skylight construction and is therefore ideal for galleries, events, photo and film productions. These skylights as well as the windows on the north and south sides can be darkened with curtains if required.
There are storage facilities at the front and rear of the Spreehalle, which can also be covered with large curtains, and the Spreehalle is equipped with power and high-voltage connections as well as a heating system. WLAN is available. Parking spaces are available, a lorry can also park directly in front of the hall. Size of the hall: 210 m² (10 x 20 m, height: 7 m)
The hire of technical equipment is optional, for catering there are very good catering facilities on the entire site within walking distance.
