The boat hall and event location schuppen1 is located directly behind the dyke at Strandbad Wedel. The maritime flair and modern infrastructure allow events for up to 2,500 guests.

From concerts and dance events to trade fairs, conferences and congresses, schuppen1 can be variably equipped and designed to suit a wide range of formats.

A real boat hall with lots of daylight

The schuppen1 in Wedel serves as a boat hall in winter and is built almost entirely of wood. The wooden beams of the roof truss give the hall a cosy character despite its size. A lot of daylight streams through the continuous skylight of the 8-metre-high hall. Individual boats, which remain in the hall even in summer, serve as authentic decoration and create a maritime ambience.

Direct access to the Elbe beach

As a highlight, the spacious boat hall has its own access to the adjacent Elbe beach. The adjacent restaurant and event location elbe1 with its spacious panorama terrace can be booked on request. The fantastic, unobstructed view of the Elbe is unique and will remain in your guests' memories for a long time.

It is possible for your guests to travel by ship from the port of Hamburg and dock at the world-famous ship welcoming facility "Willkomm-Höft" in Wedel. From there, schuppen1 is a 5-minute walk away. Alternatively, the S1 train runs from Wedel directly into the centre of Hamburg. There are also plenty of parking spaces for bikes and cars.

The location is only available in the warm half of the year (15 May - 15 September).
