Derenburg's scenic location in the Harz foreland with its extensive forests is relaxing for locals and guests alike. The Holtemme cycle path and the Harzvorland cycle path invite you to enjoy a relaxing, eventful cycle tour. Although the stables of the old manor/castle villa are empty, we have sturdy bikes in the stables that are saddled up for you and ready for you to explore our beautiful Harz landscape.

The best way to explore the Harz is by train, bike or walking stick.
