One castle - endless possibilities

One of the most beautiful neo-Gothic castles in Germany stands in the middle of a picturesque forest, above the Werra valley near Bad Sooden-Allendorf (North Hesse).

From the castle terrace you can enjoy a fantastic view of the high Meißner. Known nationwide, the high Meißner is the legendary home of the fairy tale of Frau Holle.

In the castle there is a wedding room (branch office of the registry office), where in cooperation with the municipality civil weddings are performed.

Furthermore, there are two large festival halls (120 sqm and 100 sqm) as well as a large entrance hall (70 sqm) which can be used for events (weddings, birthdays, company events, conferences, meetings and seminars). Celebrations with up to 200 people are possible there.

Rothestein Castle is also suitable as a popular photo and film backdrop and can be rented for this purpose on request. Due to its convenient location in the center of Germany, the castle is very easy to reach.
