International Music School Academy Cultural Centre Schloss Kapfenburg

This is where the music is! This has been the case since 1999, when the International Music School Academy Kulturzentrum Schloss Kapfenburg moved into the former Teutonic Order Festival. Since then, musicians from all over the world have been rehearsing in the stylish rooms, but the castle is also open to visitors as a training, conference and cultural centre. With its educational work, the foundation is committed to the health of musicians in a way that is unique in Germany. The classical concert series Accelerando and the festival in the summer have made Schloss Kapfenburg famous as a venue far beyond the borders of East Württemberg. As the regional office of "Jugend musiziert", the foundation organizes the competition in East Württemberg, while the in-house music agency arranges for competition winners and professional musicians to perform at private and public events. All guests are spoiled by the restaurant Fermata with a creative, regional cuisine.
