The castle is Grüningen's landmark: it defiantly occupies a prominent place in the Stedtli and gives Grüningen its unmistakable face. From October 2015 to April 2016, the soul of the castle was spruced up. Freshly renovated, the stylish, old rooms shine in new splendor. Each room can rightly be described as a gem, because its own style and the old substance were preserved with great sensitivity during the renovation.

The castle café opens every Sunday and treats hikers and cyclists to coffee, homemade cakes and cool drinks during their rest.
