Braunfels is a particularly beautiful place. The castle with its medieval church offers a wonderful setting for a romantic wedding - and it is also a popular film backdrop. You can celebrate in the idyllic Forsthaus am Tiergarten.
It is a little hidden at the edge of the village and is an insider tip for young and old. Here you can freshen up and relax - or even celebrate in the ballroom. Recently we have thoroughly renovated and modernized the entire property and inaugurated the hall with a glittering wedding party. Now you can even celebrate parties (with up to 150 guests) here again.
This special place is perfect for celebrating. Surrounded by green meadows and old trees, one is here completely alone with one's guests; there are (nice) neighbours only in some distance, so that one can also celebrate a little longer here without hesitation. You can imagine the reception before the festival on the pretty square in front of the forester's lodge. Depending on the position of the tables, up to 150 guests can be accommodated inside. In the newly renovated kitchen the caterer will find everything to serve delicacies. Also the DJ, for whom a small stage is available, is happy about all necessary conditions for the music and an atmospheric lighting.
The zoo itself is open daily, admission is free.
