Restaurant Funky Kitchen

The hip restaurant is a place to feel good and the food from chef Jens-Peter Fiene is excellent soul food.

And that's not all: The Funky Kitchen is located directly above the Peppermint music studios of producer size Mousse T. - with a view of the former Expo grounds and the adjacent fields and pastures of the protected landscape area. In summer the breathtaking panoramic terrace not only invites you to dine, but also to linger. The menu includes la carte dishes and menus. The surprise menu is very popular, which is available both at lunchtime (2 courses | 18€) and in the evening (3 courses | 36€).

From now on, a special lunch menu with dishes from 54€, which changes weekly, is also available.

In addition, the Funky Kitchen Separee can also be booked for events of all kinds from 25 people upwards: Meetings, weddings, for the meal after the registry office, birthdays etc.

The Funky Kitchen offers a suitable setting for meetings and off-sides of companies, organisations and their participants as well as moderators, consultants and coaches. An oasis of its own on the former Expo site.

You can look forward to a flexibly usable room in the Peppermint Pavilion or the Danish Pavilion (bookable via Funky Kitchen), which can be arranged and designed according to you and your specific needs. Floor-to-ceiling windows of our separée create a light-flooded atmosphere with a view over the fields of the landscape conservation area at the Expo Park.
