A historic place to get married! Either in the museum courtyard or in a romantic parlour in the museum itself - a special experience depending on the season.
The picturesque group of buildings around the old vicarage from the 18th and 19th centuries, extended by the "Hirtenhäusle" (shepherd's house) moved from the Breitenfürst district in 1984, has become a central museum for the Welzheim forest since 1981 with a multitude of Roman and folklore treasures. In addition, the Welzheim Museum with its detailed Roman section is the central mediation focus for the UNESCO World Heritage Limes for the Stuttgart region.
