The Marstall building in Berg on Lake Starnberg is a historic building that King Ludwig II had built in 1866 as a representative stable for his horses in the immediate vicinity of Berg Castle.
At the end of the 1990s, the municipality of Berg, in cooperation with the Höhne family, began to restore the Marstall building true to the original, thus giving it back the splendour of a bygone era.
This resulted in residential and business premises on the upper floors and a large hall on the ground floor, which today can be used for events of various kinds: from private celebrations and weddings to exhibitions and concerts, readings, theatre or film performances, as a showroom and even for events and conferences for companies.
