The Hofkücherl is a special place that is causing a stir with its new, unique Ma'Roots concept and its love of its homeland. Under the direction of Manuel Faltermeier as head chef and Manuela Holzbauer as sous chef, Ma'Roots offers a humorous and globally inspired declaration of love to the homeland with almost exclusively Bavarian ingredients.

The restaurant is located outside Munich in the picturesque village of Forstinning and is housed in a farmhouse built in 1890. The building was dismantled from Lower Bavaria in the 1990s and rebuilt in Forstinning, Sonnengasse 14a, with great attention to detail. Since March 2023, the Ma'Roots concept has been established in the Hofkücherl with the Chef's Table. However, the restaurant is not only a place for the finest culinary delights, but also an excellent event location.

Ma'Roots im Hofkücherl is suitable for groups of 20 to 55 people and offers a seasonal, regional and contemporary menu that treats guests to a unique flavour experience. The combination of Bavarian ingredients and international influences gives each dish a special flavour.

Manuel Faltermeier's concept also places great emphasis on sustainability. The menus are calculated in such a way that there is hardly any waste, which not only makes ecological sense but is also economical. Quality is always the top priority at Ma'Roots im Hofkücherl.
