The Michelfeld Castle estate dates back to a moated castle belonging to the Lords of Gemmingen in the 16th century - the castle was renovated in 1665-67 and 1758-60 and rebuilt again in 1873. Today, the resurrected two-storey castle from the rococo period with a neoclassical-style roof extension is once again a historical and architectural gem and offers eight first-class double rooms as well as a spacious castle park.
