The historic walls of the over 100-year-old shoe and leather factory have been converted into one of the most modern event centres and today provide the perfect setting for events of all kinds.
Located in the centre of Vorchdorf, the Kitzmantelfabrik is quick and easy to reach. The Vorchdorf motorway exit is on the A1, about 10 kilometres from the Voralpenkreuz junction in the direction of Salzburg. The Kitzmantelfabrik also provides you with sufficient free parking and has been a "Green Location" and a "Climate Alliance Company" since October 2019.

What sustainability initiatives does the venue implement?
The Kitzmantelfabrik is an event centre with the aim of creating the best possible conditions for climate-friendly and environmentally friendly events. Sustainability is not an empty phrase for us, but rather a mission to treat our resources and fellow human beings with respect. The Kitzmantelfabrik has been a "Green Location" and a "Climate Alliance Business" since 3 October 2019. This makes the Kitzmantelfabrik one of the pioneers in Upper Austria!
During construction, special attention was paid to creating a timeless, multifunctional and ecologically sustainable event location - fully in line with today's "green thinking".
The Kitzmantelfabrik was a 100-year-old industrial ruin that was preserved through a resource-conserving refurbishment.
The Kitzmantelfabrik is certified as a Green Location according to the. Austrian Ecolabel.
We work mainly with regional partners and service providers.
Heating is demand-orientated and environmentally friendly with biomass local heating.
The room ventilation is activated electronically as required and has a heat recovery system.
The stage lighting has been converted to energy-efficient LED lighting.
E-charging stations are available for environmentally friendly e-vehicles in the car park.
Care is taken to use environmentally friendly products for consumables.
Information on travelling by public transport is made easily available to our guests and customers.
Waste is generally avoided, but any waste that does occur is collected separately and disposed of professionally.
