The location at Karolinenstraße 45 is situated in the centre of Hamburg in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition grounds. The neo-Gothic brick building offers space for a wide range of event formats with various rooms on 4 floors.
An outdoor area protected all year round by the canopy of the Hamburg trade fair centre rounds off the offer.

Your event in the Karoline

The Karoline offers space for up to 1000 people and is ideal for conferences, congresses, PR & marketing events, product presentations, corporate events, private parties, meetings and unusual photo and film events.

The location has five rooms with high ceilings and pillars as well as a large window front, which ensures that the rooms are flooded with light.

Karoline's history

The location used to be the administrative building of the "Karoline" coal-fired power station. In the 1990s, the building was partially demolished to make way for Lagerstrasse. Since 2015, the Karoline has been used as a versatile cultural and event venue after a long period of vacancy.
