The Feine Privathotel Die Sonne Frankenberg is located in northern Hesse, not far from the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. 63 rooms and suites, two restaurants, 2 conference rooms with daylight and some with a terrace, free parking and modern conference technology are available for your event. Our boardroom for up to 18 people and our group room for up to 4 people are available as conference rooms. Both rooms have natural daylight and the small group room also has a conference terrace. The culinary diversity of our hotel is reflected in North Hesse's only Michelin-starred restaurant Philipp Soldan and the SonneStuben. Both restaurants are defined by lightness, transparency, regionality and sustainability. Exclusive cookery courses can also be organised for companies in the Philipp Soldan Michelin-starred restaurant.

What sustainability initiatives does the venue implement?
We are certified with the Viabono sustainability programme. We are also a partner of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park and have an in-house sustainability programme. For example, our guests collect trees that are planted in Germany and Europe when they refrain from cleaning their rooms and during activities in the surrounding area. Our products come from local and regional partners & suppliers or are partly produced in-house. In addition, we do not use individual packaging for breakfast, among other things.
