The Heiner´s Parkhotel in Nordsternpark offers all the services of a modern 4-star hotel in Gelsenkirchen, including free WLAN Internet access throughout the building.


Winter garden, lounge and terrace serve as spectacular breakfast area with the charm of the former Waschkaue, where guests can enjoy an excellent hot and cold breakfast buffet from 6:30 - 11:00 o'clock. The conference and business hotel is located only a few minutes from the landscape park on the site of the former Nordstern colliery in Gelsenkirchen

After the closure of the Nordstern colliery in 1993, the site was completely renovated and transformed into a beautiful park.


Sights include the winding towers of the Nordstern colliery with the "Hercules", the amphitheatre with lake stage on the Rhine-Herne canal. Both pedestrians and cyclists find traces of mining on their paths.


The city centre of Gelsenkirchen can be reached by car in less than 10 minutes.
