Welcome to the GROUNDLIFT - AMMERSEE LIVE STUDIOS in the Old Brewery Stegen.

Seldom have you been so enchanted by a place that combines tried and tested old with modern technology in a top location directly on Lake Ammersee. On a total of over 500m² you will find the large broadcast studio with up to 180 seats (350 standing room), the old brewhouse with bar, the lounge with bar, 2 cinema halls and a beer garden with a view of the Ammersee.

The theater hall

70 square meters of stage. A large auditorium (90 m2) with gallery (48 m2) and ceilings 6 meters high. In the former refrigerator ship of the brewery, the industrial charm of 1892 is combined with a unique stage atmosphere.

In the former refrigerator ship of the old brewery, a cult theater was already established in the 90s. None other than Dieter Hildebrandt was one of the first cabaret artists to perform here.

Today, the theater is equipped with the latest audio, video, and event technology and allows for many different types of events.

The Sudhaus Bar

The former brewhouse impresses with a stylish bar and seating that invites you to linger. A fully equipped bistro kitchen is integrated in the old brew kettle.

The Lounge Bar

In the lounge you can not only celebrate grandiose parties. With its own bar and a stage, up to 70 people can attend smaller concerts or enjoy excellent cocktails at public bars.

For larger events, the lounge also serves as an extended backstage area.

The cinema

In our own cinema we have two halls with 52 and 33 seats in the basement vaults under our studio.

In combination with the rest of our portfolio, this creates unique combinations that offer completely new possibilities for premieres, presentations or other events.
