As soon as we entered the grotto for the first time, we knew that this was a very special place. The energy of this place makes you feel alive. We hope that you can take a good portion of it home with you when you visit us.
The Grotto is a place of encounter and enjoyment. The idyllic location in the middle of the Hermann family's vineyard immediately creates a holiday atmosphere and a cosy feeling of relaxation.
The Grotto Fläscher Bad is simply a little bit different.
Our family business, Schneggen AG, has been around since 1970, our catering company and our cooking studio Marxers Kochwelt since 2013 and with the takeover of Fläscher Bad, family togetherness is now also the top priority in the new grotto on the Hermann vineyard.
Over the past few months, we have put our heart and soul into sprucing up and renovating the grotto - and are now delighted with our oasis of well-being in the middle of the vines. It's chic and yet incredibly cosy here - a real place of power.
We would like to send your thoughts and your palate on holiday, because we know one thing: Pleasure is fleeting, but not the memory of it. That's why we want to share the joy of it with you.

Sustainability
What sustainability initiatives does the venue implement?
We are a member of the Culinarium association. We are part of the Swisstanable sustainability programme and are classified at level 2. We produce electricity on the roof of our production facility with our own photovoltaic system, which can supply 27 kW. This means that 90% of our cooking is green.
