former compressor hall has four event areas: the ground floor with foyer and club area, the Grand Hall on the upper floor and the Schalthaus 1 with separate conference and meeting rooms. Thanks to its various areas, the Grand Hall offers both agencies and event organisers space for a whole range of different event formats: Corporate events such as conferences, congresses, general meetings, seminars, trade fairs and company presentations and public events. The Grand Hall has a total of more than 4,000 square metres of event and conference space, distributed over three levels. Events with visitor numbers between 25 and 2,500 people can be held at the Essen location without any problems.

Dimensions and richness of detailThe
Grand Hall offers almost 2,000 square metres of space and a ceiling height of eight metres, a space whose dimensions the location owes its name to. Next to a spacious staircase there is an elevator - all rooms are barrier-free accessible. Where a hall full of steel compressors used to fill the room, a large area for events of all kinds is now open to visitors.

The Grand Hall has a comprehensive in-house event technology including stage, lighting, media and presentation technology as well as sound equipment. An in-house furniture pool consisting of seating, bar tables, bar stools and buffet tables rounds off the extensive range.
