Built in 1929, the Friedrich-Ebert-Halle in Hamburg-Harburg is one of the largest concert halls in northern Germany. Only 20 minutes from Hamburg's main railway station, the concert hall, which was extensively renovated in 2014 in keeping with its status as a historic monument, offers space for around 1,100 visitors and is known for its outstanding acoustics.
The three major Hamburg orchestras are regular guests here. But it also hosts pop concerts, cabaret/comedy and special events (e.g. MTV Unplugged with Revolverheld 2015).
