Eventschiff Herr Walter

The club and event ship "Herr Walter" is a converted bulk cargo ship and has been anchored in Dortmund harbour since 2011. It was launched in 1901 in Rathenow an der Havel and served as a barge on European rivers and canals for several decades. After extending the hull by 14 metres in the 1970s, the ship is now approx. 6 metres wide and 60 metres long. Thus the colossus of steel and iron offers after a renovation also as a location for celebrations all year round any quantity place.

"Mr. Walter" offers with the club and the bar in the ship, the sun decks (if necessary with heatable tents), the beach-like forecourt with its large, cosy lounge tent an unusual ambience.

Especially for private celebrations, birthdays, weddings, Christmas parties, company celebrations, photo sessions, etc., Mr. Walter is a venue that is unparalleled in the wide area.

Depending on the seating and setup, we are able to accommodate your party from 20 to 800 people. Both in the catering and in the stage and event technology we implement your individual wishes and with our professional partners we turn your event into an extraordinary experience: There are no limits to your imagination!
