The Protestant Church is a listed former church building which was consecrated in 1905. In 1996, much of the steeple burned out after being struck by lightning. In 2013, the last mass was held; the church was deconsecrated at the end of 2013.
The brick building is richly structured on all sides and decorated with architectural ornaments made of moulded bricks and colourfully glazed tiles in the style of North German brick Gothic. The wide central nave serves as a reception, seating and dance area. In the northern side aisle there is a gallery.
Since mid-2017, the historic and impressive location can be used for events of all kinds and filled with new life. From weddings to birthdays to corporate events, the Event Church offers space for unforgettable moments.
