DJH Jugendherberge Biggesee

The DJH Biggesee Youth Hostel is idyllically situated above the largest reservoir in Westphalia. Our spacious, versatile hostel offers a large hall, a bistro and extensive lawns with a beach volleyball court, play equipment and a football pitch. We are ideal for trainee and company incentives as well as conferences and meetings and, of course, family and group holidays. Companies, clubs and associations of all kinds, as well as family reunions and celebrations are very welcome here. In the evenings, everyone can relax in the "Chörmits" bistro. The youth hostel has modern facilities, free parking, WLAN and a variety of catering options. The location next to the forest allows for hikes and nature experiences right on the doorstep, while the Biggesee lake beckons with its bathing opportunities.

The rooms at the youth hostel were completely refurnished in 2019, since 2023 all rooms have their own toilet and shower and in 2024 the reception, atrium and foyer were completely renovated.

Here are some details about our conference and meeting rooms and our atrium:

Room Fahlenscheid: 94 m²- Perfectly suited for larger events and conferences.

Biggesee, Olpe, Mühlenberg room: Three 75 m² rooms. Perfect for presentations, workshops and seminars. Also suitable as a rehearsal room for music groups and choirs.

Attahöhle room: 54 m², Lister room: 50 m² - perfect for smaller groups, family celebrations and intensive dialogue.

Rhode room: 35 m² - Perfect for smaller groups and family celebrations.

Stade room: 20 m² - Small meeting room, face-to-face meetings, register rehearsals or storage for large events.

Fireplace room: 80 m² - Actually our family lounge, but also ideal for family events or organisation team room.

Atrium: can only be used as an event room for exclusive bookings and offers space for up to 200 people. Ideal as a plenum and for orchestra rehearsals.
