The Döns, the historic waiting shelter on the Neumühlen pontoon, is rented out by the Oevelgönne Museum Harbour Association for smaller events. The Döns has a very special harbour flair, on one side the Elbe with passing container giants and cruise ships. On the other side is the idyllic museum harbour, home to historic sailing ships. The Döns can be used for a variety of purposes, and a firewood-fuelled stove provides cosy warmth in winter. The Döns is also equipped with a kitchenette including two fridges. With seating for a maximum of 40 people or standing room for 50, it is ideal for weddings, birthdays and similar celebrations.
A music system with speakers permanently mounted under the ceiling is available.
The toilets are located in the immediate vicinity on the museum harbour restaurant ship "BERGEDORF". This is not tied to the opening hours of the restaurant, but is accessible 24/7.
You can bring your own food and drinks. Alternatively, we can name catering partners.
