The Cruise Centre Altona, built between 2009 and 2011, is located on the banks of the Elbe in Hamburg's Altona district between the former DFDS Scandinavia Seaways ferry terminal and the futuristic Hadi Therani Dockland office building.

Outside of ship handling times, the longest-serving, catering- and technology-free cruise terminal with its very own charm is a maximally authentic venue for events - both inside the terminal and outdoors on the 326-metre-long pier, the Edgar Engelhard Quay.

Events at the Cruise Center Altona impress with around 1,600 m² of pier-free space in addition to the most central location in the city centre and a great view of the Port of Hamburg. The building design of glass and steel, coupled with excellent acoustics, creates the best conditions for organising major events.

Around 200 parking spaces for your guests as well as parking areas for buses, taxis and lorries ensure a comfortable journey without having to search for a parking space. Alternatively, you can also let your guests arrive by ferry. There is a ferry pier in the immediate vicinity - something that emphasises the special nature of this event location and can be booked and travelled to on request.
