Congress Innsbruck is characterised by its central location in the heart of Innsbruck. The immediate proximity to Innsbruck's old town with its alpine-urban flair and the Alpine river Inn, as well as the surrounding impressive mountain scenery are among the special features of the building.
The 13 halls and the functionally diverse foyers on the 3 levels of Congress Innsbruck fulfil a wide range of requirements and can be used flexibly. The venue is suitable for international and national congresses, conferences and corporate events for up to 3,300 people. For large events or social events such as balls, the capacity is up to 8,000 visitors and guests. The room capacities, flexible utilisation options, open and closed rooms and state-of-the-art technology fulfil every wish for a successful event. The competent team at Congress Messe Innsbruck provides support in the planning and realisation of all events and is on hand with the best host qualities, plenty of experience and fresh ideas.

What sustainability initiatives does the venue implement?
Clean air, clear water, an intact environment, social responsibility and regional awareness: All this characterises the Tyrol region and the provincial capital of Innsbruck. Congress Messe Innsbruck is aware of its responsibility towards the region and makes its contribution to maintaining the high quality of life. The company has been awarded the Austrian Ecolabel for "Green Meetings & Green Events" and is certified as a "Green Location" at its three locations. Congress Messe Innsbruck has also been awarded the "Green Globe" sustainability certificate. The rigorous audits attest to Congress Messe Innsbruck's consciously sustainable behaviour and investments in sustainability and energy efficiency.
Congress Messe Innsbruck only uses electricity from renewable energy sources such as local hydropower.
Over 80% of the energy generated for heating and cooling at the Congress Innsbruck and Messe Innsbruck sites comes from two deep groundwater wells.
A solar thermal system at the congresspark igls site improves the energy balance.
The current planning provides for new photovoltaic systems at all three locations.
E-charging stations are in operation at all three locations Congress Innsbruck, Messe Innsbruck and congresspark igls.
In cooperation with Innsbrucker Verkehrsbetriebe (IVB) and Verkehrsverbund Tirol (VVT), visitors to our own exhibitions can use public transport from all over Tyrol free of charge.
Congress Messe Innsbruck is authorised to certify events as "Green Meetings & Green Events".
