Château des Joncherets dates back to 1620, a glory period for French art, economy, and architecture. The buildings and gardens were designed and built by King Louis XIII’s royal squire and later, André Le Nôtre, King Louis XIV ‘s landscape architect.
Château des Joncherets was designed to host royal parties and cultural events; it was a place to escape from the day-to-day. We invite you to do the same! Whether you seek a vacation, grand celebration, or an intimate gathering, our vetted professionals are here to ensure your experience is nothing short of magical!
Directly on the château grounds, you’ll find a quaint chapel that formerly served as the private sacred space for the château’s residents. Today it serves as a public place of worship and is classified as a historical monument. Guests can attend Catholic services steeped with tradition and history or work with the local priest to organize their own wedding ceremony.
We’re happy to accommodate indoor dinners and events for up to 160 guests in our wedding dining hall and reception space in the château’s Orangerie. For those seeking an outdoor experience, the sky is the limit for your guest count! There is a complimentary, tree-lined parking space for 80+ cars a mere one-minute walk from the château. You’ll also find additional parking on the perimeter of the château grounds for another 20 cars. Meter-free street parking can be found throughout the village.
Treat your guests to unforgettable meals and bites prepared by our chefs. We’ll work with you to match a chef and their crew to your preference for cuisine, serving style, and ambiance. Choose between local French chefs, American Michelin Star chefs, and vetted catering companies.
