The Casinotheater is a culture house supported by artists and sympathisers, which has been running a year-round theatre since 2002 at its own risk without public contributions. The theatre has developed into a unique platform in Switzerland for small stage art with comedy, satire, cabaret, poetry slam, improv theatre and music. In addition to well-known acts, young and still unknown artists are constantly being discovered and promoted.
The in-house restaurant Fredi and the events in the charismatic event rooms make the Casinotheater a special kind of cultural centre: theatre, restaurant and event are united under one roof.
