The Casinotheater is a cultural centre supported by artists and sympathisers, which has been running a year-round theatre business at its own risk without public funding since 2002. The theatre has developed into a unique platform in Switzerland for small stage art with comedy, satire, cabaret, poetry slam, improv theatre and music. In addition to well-known acts, young and as yet unknown artists are constantly being discovered and promoted.
The in-house restaurant Fredi and the events in the charismatic event rooms make the Casinotheater a very special kind of cultural venue: theatre, restaurant and event are united under one roof.
