Eating well in Weingarten - that's what Café Museum stands for. For 25 years we have been serving guests of all ages regional and international dishes at fair prices at Karlstraße 28 in Weingarten in the town's former granary.

You would like to have breakfast with a friend? Or are you looking for a suitable place for a business lunch? Then Café Museum is the right place. Of course also for a cosy dinner for two or for your family celebration.

We are known for our fast and friendly service.

Our restaurant is open daily except Sundays from morning till late evening. On our menu you will find classics of good cuisine, such as steaks and schnitzel, healthy vegetarian and vegan dishes, salads and snacks for the hunger in between. All cooked with love and served with relish.


Of course, we also serve Swabian specialties: sour lentils with spaetzle and strings, cheese spaetzle, homemade Maultaschen and onion roast from pasture-raised beef. Indoors and outdoors, in our beautiful beer garden in the middle of the city.


Especially popular are our burgers in many variations. Whether Ham-, Bacon or Cheeseburger for the North American export hit we use the best beef. As far as possible, we source all ingredients from regional producers. And you can taste that.

Many guests come for a quick lunch. On the weekly menu we always have two dishes to choose from: A meat dish and a vegetarian meal, as well as a vegan dish that changes weekly. In summer we also have a salad of the week and in winter a stew of the week.

In the Café Museum we also organize your private or business celebration. Gladly also as a closed society (from 65 persons).

1996, a new tenant was sought for the Café Museum. We applied and were chosen from 70 applicants. Now we could fulfill our dream of independence.

Since then we, Andreas and Patricia Scheffler, have been running the Café Museum with passion.
