THE BURGVILLA - LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

In 1908, the architect Franz Burkhard built the Burgvilla on Rödelbergweg for the Frankfurt carpet dealer Max Bauer. After his death in 1958, the house changed tenants several times until finally, in 1976, the Gläser family rented the building and dedicated themselves to protecting this monument with great dedication and attention to detail. This commitment was rewarded in 2005 with the Hessian Monument Preservation Award.

In 2013, the current owners fell in love with the charm of the old building, which is now for sale, and saw the opportunity to turn it into a gem.

ROOMS FOR UP TO 50 PEOPLE

Weddings, birthdays, christenings, communions and confirmations or simply a ladies' night or a gentlemen's evening - it is the mixture of personal moments and lavish celebrations that will be remembered. The charm of the Burgvilla is an excellent way to keep these memories as the most beautiful ones.

For a party of this size, we offer the entire ground floor of the Burgvilla: Entrée, fireside lounge, bar, parlour, vaulted hall. The vaulted hall can comfortably seat 50 people for a seated meal, the adjoining parlour can be used as a dance floor, the transitional bar area can be used for refreshments and the fireplace room for smoking.

INSIDE YARD

The romantic inner courtyard - about 120 square metres in size - always serves as a reception area for larger events. This is where the aperitif is taken, the flying buffet is served and guests are welcomed. Music to suit your taste plays in the background, candles, lanterns, small open fires and the illuminated old oak tree create the perfect atmosphere at a later hour. Bar tables, seating and lounge furniture invite you to linger. In the summer months, you don't even want to go inside. If the weather is mild and dry, you don't have to...
