Have you ever rented a café as an event location?
With us, the Buchkantine, you experience a special combination of café, delicatessen and bookshop - and all that in the middle of Berlin.

Whether you want to celebrate your birthday, your wedding, a company or Christmas party or an anniversary, with the Buchkantine your next celebration will be uniquely memorable.

Our 200-square-metre guest room and our large, green terrace with a view of the River Spree offer enough space for a celebration with up to 100 guests. You also have the option of using our daylight projector, Dolby Surround Sound, Wi-Fi, wireless microphone and other high-level technical facilities.

If you decide to rent our café, we offer catering for your guests that is also tailored to vegetarians and vegans. This includes a small selection of quiches, soups and salads as well as an extensive selection of cakes, pies and pastries. The range of coffee, tea and other hot drinks as well as soft drinks and alcoholic beverages leavesnothing to be desired.

We do not arrange a buffet or menu, but you can hire an external caterer if this seems necessary for your celebration. We can also advise you on this and make recommendations.

You can hire the Buchkantine for a festive occasion or event as long as a minimum turnover of €400 per hour is guaranteed.

If you want to make your next event a unique experience: The Book Canteen offers exclusive tastings and blind tastings (champagne, wine, gin, etc.) in addition to rentals, which are conducted by our experienced and trained staff and customised for individual groups.
