Blockhaus Nikolskoe
In 1819 Prussian King Friedrich William III. had the log cabin built on
the model of a Russian farmhouse to surprise his daughter, Princess
Charlotte, and her husband, the Grand Duke and later Tsar Nicholas,
while on a visit to Berlin. The name Nikolskoe comes from the Russian word Никольское and literally means "Belonging of Nikolai“. The
Blockhouse Nikolskoe initially served as a holiday home for the royal
family... until it was reconceived as a restaurant in the 1920s. Since
then the monument has remained virtually unchanged... and remains a
well-known and popular destination for everyone to this very day.
We offer the finest German cuisine in a unique location with a very long tradition and simply stunning views on the river Havel, on Sacrow and on the Pfaueninsel...
We are open daily from 12 o'clock.
Celebrate good times... in 5 rooms.
Especially our rustic ballroom can accommodate up to 100 guests.
But our other rooms are ideally suited for festivities of all kinds as well. Don’t forget to have a look at our small and cozy venues for more intimate occasions.
Our terrace area is suitable for many festivities as well – especially in springtime and summer for family gatherings, birthdays, weddings or christenings, as the beautiful historic church "St. Peter and Paul" is only a three-minute walk away.
