Towards the end of the 19th century, the manor house was built as the new home of the "Königlich Privilegierte Hauptschützengesellschaft München" (Royal Privileged Shooting Club Munich). Well-known Munich personalities and, last but not least, historically and politically important members of the House of Wittelsbach spent time with the Hauptschützengesellschaft over the centuries.
Today, our restaurant with ballroom and spacious beer garden called "Augustiner Schützengarten" is located on the extensive grounds surrounded by old trees in the heart of Sendling.
We spoil our guests with fresh, Bavarian-Austrian cuisine with regional and seasonal specialities.
Our highlights are always the culinary excursions into the Mediterranean cuisine.
In our stately main house you can feel the centuries-old tradition in every detail - and whoever once stood in the magnificent and impressive ballroom will never forget it. You will feel the same with the warm Bavarian inn atmosphere in our guest rooms or the cosy Kitzalm, which offer ideal conditions for your traditional, elegant or modern celebration.
We are looking forward to your visit and wish you already now much pleasure, good appetite and
a wonderful time with us.
